Pakk, reskontó, Pósalaki úr, Simonyi óbester — just a word or two is enough to make us all think of little Misi Nyilas. The novel by Zsigmond Móricz inspired the philosophy of our restaurant, which was founded upon more than 30 years of family experience and an unwavering dedication to hospitality.

Reskontó is located in the heart of Debrecen, right next to the Great Church and the renowned Reformed College of Debrecen — an ideal stop for tourists exploring the city. The multiple guest areas offer various experiences: à la carte dining, a bistro section for faster self-service, which also serves as a private room for closed events. The wine bar, maintaining its traditional style, provides a pleasant atmosphere popular among both older and younger generations. In summer, a spacious and quiet garden terrace is set up, offering a beautiful and cozy environment. We also have our own parking lot.

Reskontó is a cozy, family-style restaurant that brings back the flavors of our grandmothers’ and mothers’ Sunday lunches and dinners, offering the values of traditional Hungarian hospitality to the guests of the new millennium.
